When restoring any wooden or engineered floor surface, we must first remove the protective layer (varnish, oils or wax) to ensure the surface is smooth, clean and flat, ready for the next stage of the restoration process. At this stage, we will also perform any necessary floor repairs.

At Athboy Flooring Restoration we utilise the Bona Dust Care System when sanding floors, which features a two-step cyclonic intake system for completely dustless sanding. This ultra-high vacuum device attaches right to the sander and effectively collects all dust before it has a chance to escape into the air or onto the floor. The Bona Dust Care System also features a hospital-grade HEPA filter that delivers air which is 99.99% clean.
